Here at Highfield Littleport we take wellbeing and mental health very seriously. We have a lot of strategies and support in place in order to promote positive mental health and wellbeing at our school. In order to help improve our practice and demonstrate the great work that we already do we chose to work towards the National Children's Bureau Wellbeing Award. The Award has a comprehensive set of criteria which considers support for parents, students and staff and helps to demonstrate a positive approach to all areas of mental health. After a tough verification visit and a lot of hard work from one of our senior leaders in collating all of the evidence our wait was over. We got official notification today that we were successful in gaining the award.
We are eager to continually improve and promote positive wellbeing at our school so we will be continuing to work on these areas.
Well done to everyone involved.
